JRCS: AR Digital Captain
JRCS is an innovative customer services company in Japan's maritime industry. Services such as developing, producing, and managing power supply switchboards and automation of control systems. They also provide marine logistics on the safe and efficient navigation of vessels in the world's oceans. They aim to offer remote training, maintenance assistance and provide ship command using mixed reality technology.

What I did
In a four-week client engagement, I envisioned the digital transformation of the maritime industry. My work focused on using Augmented Reality technology in Hololens to streamline maintenance troubleshoots, remote training, and operation of JSB switchboards via remote assist/guide UI and cargo vessels via a digital captain.
My Responsibilities
UX designer and visual storyteller
Communicate user experience possibilities with Clients in a workshop designed to pinpoint the business's existing pain points.
Using sketches, mood boards, and UX wireframes highlight a path to automation and digitization of current workflows through Microsoft HoloLens Augmented Reality and IoT state-of-the-art technologies.
Generate final UI visuals, design artifacts for video compositions, and demo prototypes.
